During my stay in San Sebastián in 2016, thanks to the SICUE exchange program between universities, I entered the first ideas contest for Christmas lighting, organized between the San Sebastián City Council and the University of the Basque Country (UPV). Together with my colleagues Juan Álvaro de Diego from Engineering and Víctor Niessen Fernández from Architecture, we won the first prize in the contest, which involved the construction of the installation who can be enjoyed every Christmas since 2017.
